If you check page #47 of these posts , I sent pictures of the way I installed the rudder servo. Maybe this will help.

Yes, it is a JL. I don't have the battaries or balancing in the nose yet. Also no cockpit or pilots. When allis said and done I'm sure I will be up at the 32or33 pounds.

Dry weight is 29 lbs. However I believe I will need to add some nose weight at balancing because the turbine is a nexsus 3600.

I just read Steve's post on the cg at 5.25. I have also seen the cg at 6.25. Other than preference why the wide variation ? I also find a great deal of differance in the throws. I'm ready to put mine...

Hi Hector,

I'm using a 6 volt system. I didn't think that the regulators were necessary until you got into the 7 plus volt range. The only servos that really buzzed were the flap servos.

I have used two digital servos on my L39 flaps ( 5645) ( not flown yet). Lots of buzzing. Expect it with digitals a little, but it bugs me. Would a 130 oz. analog be sufficient ? Thanks for any...

Hi Jim,

That little tab goes just above the rudder and is attached to the bottom side of the upper cutout of the vertical stab. Confusing but thats where it goes.

I was looking at your install of the turbine. I am putting in a nexus 3600 in my L39 and this looks to be quite similar. I see you moved the exhaust tube back. I guess about an inch...
