I also eliminated the slop in the hinge pins on the rudders. Since it's almost impossible to find the right size wire ( 1.75mm instead of the 1.5mm provided), I decided to modify the rudders...

I had the shaft on mine tear out of the piston when slamming down.... there should indeed be a mechanical stop to prevent these forces going to this tiny...

No way to unlock it without air, The downlock is air operated. Just connect your handpump to the 'up' side of the cylinder and give it some pressure. You will probably need to push back on...

you're right... The D has the two screens side by side. the RIO panel also has a CRT screen in the upper middle of the panel, above the round radar scope, and the MDI screen on the right...
