I replaced the wooden 20X6 prop with a Hover...

I replaced the wooden 20X6 prop with a Hover carbon 20X8 prop. WOW....did this motor come alive. Ulimited verticle, pulls fantastic....this weekend I'll use a tachometer and see what the 40cc turns

Maiden the EF Extra 300 78" today with the VVRC 40cc. Motor pulled it around without a problem. I put five tanks through it, just puttin no hard flying yet. Plane and motor combo are great. :D

Yes the canopy is clear. I don't mind the clear canopy; however, if I knew of a way to tint it so it would look professional, I would. I'm afraid if I try a spray application it wouldn't turn...

I'm building a EF 78" and I'm going to use the VVRC 40cc. I have all the control surfaces glued, sealed and the all the linkage set up except for the rudder. I'll do that this week....

From the back to the prop nut is 5 1/2 inches . Of course the shaft to mount the prop is an additonal 1 1/2 " beyond the prop nut

May I suggest, if you're going to buy the EF 78" Extra to go online and add yourself to the waiting list. I did this for their 91" Extra. I received notification it was in stock early in the morning....
