It sounds to me like the reeds are leaking. You might want to take the carb and reed block off and see if the reeds are seating and sealing properly.

Thanks for the replies about the 1/4" plugs. All good news! Either plug has the same gap so it would seem that .020 is the same with the CM6 or the 1/4x32...............................

Does anyone have some run time on the 40 twin with the 1/4 inch sparkplugs? Are they holding up OK? I have several other engines with both the CM6 plug and the 1/4x32 plugs and they all seem to run...

My 40cc twin arrived the day of our club meeting. Everyone was drooling all over it. If it runs as good as it looks, I have a winner! Fits in the Zlin cowl perfectly!

I just ordered my VVRC 40cc twin. It will be going on a 85" Zlin Z50-L designed for a 26-30cc engine. This should be a perfect combination.<div>
