With all the flights I have had with mine I can only say don't wory about it ,:DI glued in the
alu rods in mine as well .

You will have no issues off grass, ok ouer club field is like a golf club :D never the less the trailing u/c and the big wheels work very well ,just one thing I would recomend but in a harder spring...

I take off from grass in 100meters 300ft:D no flaps
mine is powerd with a Simjet 3000AES (31LB OF THRUST)

I am sorry to see you do harm,[&o]your wing tube did not brake even with the hard bang.I had a flame out with mine and broke the nose section on it[:@] I got a new one ,all repaired now...

just on the nose leg if it is to soft that might have left it to low then it would...

It looks like a few have this problem with the gear doors mine is ok did you try and shim between the retracts and the maunting plate?

In my opinion you wont have to worry if you do put the inserts in to the tubes I think they are 240mm and 270mm I used polyurethane clue that expands when it dries ,now they are rock...

we had a great turnout for the first JET-METTING in IRELAND I had 6 flights with my L39 and was very happy with it
it flew absolutely superb:D every one was commenting how realistic it is...

No its not the oleo it is the mounting lugs of the retract units itself that broke the 2 angles that hold the units together
they look weak but I do think it is just as well as it saved...

I had my maiden today what a fly-er :D:D,the first flight C.G to Far back but it still flew OK I had it at 130mm from leading edge so I added more weight for the second flight now it...
