Yes, on the pin in the nose gear, don't worry about it, the steering setup keeps the gear lined up when retracted anyway. I removed the pin and springs

FYI all L-39 guys, I needed a new nose gear for my JL L-39. Global Jet Cub got me one in 7 days.....!!!!!!!!! flew the HE out of my JL l-39 at New England Jet Rally this weekend.. Love that L-39

L-39 builders,, has anyone installed and flown their 39 with the two long pitot tube installed on the wing ? also where do the two gray covers get installed ?

Question ? When installing the canopy etc, are you just inserting the cockpit tub onto the frame and letting the canopy hold the tub in place, or are you glueing the tub to the canopy frame ??
