I would not trust the plastic end clevises...

I would not trust the plastic end clevises especially. I use these actuators on sliding canopies, and even in this low stress application have seen these break / strip out if the actuator rod/tube....

wow, what an awesome f-14! those landings with flaps and spoilers are just gorgeous ! , and in that 2nd video, there are some pretty hard Gs thrown at that airframe .. looks SOLID! ...
