I have 2 big (long) tie wraps that go around all 3 of my tanks. I was able to install the tie wraps through the speed brake opening in the bottom of the fuse.

I was going to say the same thing. You have good geometry with your cylinder on the doors.
My cylinder is actually attached on the hinge giving me very little leverage at all.

My doors open...

So, I think you are probably right about the turbines, especially the larger turbines, causing negative pressure that keeps the doors from opening properly.

I'm not familiar with Simjet turbines, so I don't know what size a 2300 is, but maybe the turbine size has something to do with it too. I...

You can program in a delay between doors opening and gear up then, correct? Does that not work for you either? Your doors just do not want to open?

I have a UP2 on mine, and the gear are always closing on the doors. It will work fine on the ground, but not in flight.
I haven't figured out why until just now. Maybe you're onto something there...

Mine came out right at 34 lbs with 9 oz of lead in the nose. This seems to be where most of them are coming out at.

It's 25mm up and 25mm down. Make sure you use expo.
My CG is at 6-1/8", and this seems perfect.

I assume you are saying 6-1/4" back from the wing LE, at the wing tip?
It looks like the plans are calling for 5-1/2" back, but you are saying 6-1/4" back works better for you.
