Pipe looks the same. I slotted the aft engine bulkhead so the mounts would clear and pass through and attach to the mounting rails.

When I put the mounts in and move the pipe as far forward the pipe sits too far back.

Looks like there’s some variation in the pipe mounting straps . The straps are pretty easy to make yourself . I would just make a new set . I bet you can even just flatten out the existing straps and put the twist in a different spot.

On David’s it would have been nice if the pipe itself were a little bit longer. This would’ve let the motor move a bit forward .

Ok...looking closer, the straps are a different design. David’s do not have the twist. They are flat with a tab bent 90 deg that attaches to the pipe.

Ok that was driving me crazy... I can not figure a way to install the pipe. Maybe Dirk can ask the factory for pictures or send me the pipe you have.....

Do you receive an email alerting you to the shipping status or does it just show up on your porch?

I was curious about this myself. I ordered a large T1 just under 14 weeks ago and still have not received it yet. What kind of lead times are you guys looking at?

Great question. When I ordered mine 3 months ago I believe the web site said 6-8 weeks and my email asking for the status has gone unanswered.

Does anyone know the spec of the servos that come in the PNP package? Are they from a ‘branded’ manufacturer?

i cant remember what they are. I do know you can spec out any brand you want for an upcharge of course but they get the branded servos cheaper then we do.

Kris, do you have any idea what a reasonable time is to expect a Micro PNP from ordering to receiving it? I've heard the company is overwhelmed with the amount of orders and would like to know when to start looking for it.
Thanks,
John

Yeah good idea but I still don't how long to make it plus the $$$$$$$... anyway I sold it and ordered a Carf Rebel Hot.
I may circle back after the issues are sorted out. (Rear engine mount and pipe.) I know Dirk will figure it out and fix it.

It's fine Kris. Just don't want to be gone on vacation and it shows up on my doorstep without any clue. I ordered my Kingtech 45 G3 and it was here in a week but I have customer T-45 colors and PNP which I know will set it back quite awhile. Sounds like a winter project. It'll get here when it gets here.

I have one on order. Ordered it on 5/30/19.Along with it I ordered one of the Kingtech K45G3's. Should be here soon. The reason I say this is that I would like to sell it as a combo when it gets here. It is the PNP version. It is either going to be in the Audi scheme or the Blue Angels scheme. Had it changed to the Audi scheme about 3 weeks after I ordered it. Dirk wasn't sure it could happen.Reason for selling it is that I want to order a Rebel Classic. Dennis

The CARF Rebel Hot is about the same size but appears to be much heavier than the Micro T-1?

The rebel hot has a tread...maybe you should read that? It’s more for a little bigger motor...

I was going by this information on the CARF website for the Hot vs the info on the PacificRC website for the Micro T1

Rebel Hot: 1.5m wingspan and around 6 kg weight it is perfectly suited for a 45-70 N engine, where the 70 is really overkill
Micro T-1: Length: 58.27" (1.48m) Wing Span: 52.76" (1.34m) Weight 9.92 lbs (4.5kg) wet with K-30

I just went by wingspan ... 1.5m with a 45-70N for the Hot vs 1.48m with a 45N maximum for the Micro T1
I must have missed something...my mistake.

The wingspan of the Micro T1, according to what you’ve just posted, is 1.34m (not 1.48m). That makes it 10% smaller which might not sound like a lot, but I bet it would be noticeable if they were side by side.

Whilst this is a Micro T1 thread, a brief diversion to clarify this was probably worthwhile as it seems that several people are changing from the Micro T1 to the Rebel Hot. I bet they will both fly great on a X-45 or the new smaller Kingtech 45 but they aren’t directly comparable models. The Rebel Hot is designed for up to a 70 engine whereas the Micro T1 max design is for a 45.
