It looks great. What size engine do you think. I love that T-one is doing different sized models instead of just giant sized

Contrary to popular belief, you do not need a 1:1 or more power to weight ratio to fly jets. I used a K120 to maiden the T-One 1/4.75 Hawk 100 that had the tip missiles, under wing missiles and drop tanks. The Hawk flew fantastic as I'm sure the Yak will fly just as good. We have customers flying the T-1 28-31lbs flying weight with K-100 off grass fields. I'm sure you will find many others flying less than a 1:1 PTWR.

I am not arguing that you need 1:1 to fly the jets..I have a 20 pound bobcat that flew well on a 12 pound turbine. I asked the question because DigitalPilot recommended a K160 for this jet which seemed a bit much. He clarified that with all the armament that you 'need' a K160. I love the looks of this jet and am seriously considering it once I see a few fly, but just wanted the clarification on what he recommended.

Sorry if I caused any confusion guys. The need for the K160 was mainly due to the large amount of stores that hang from this bird. They are big, bulky and draggy thus the need for the bigger engine to keep the performance to par.
