Default BJ Craft Invitation Pattern Plane - Akiba Scheme (2018)

Built in April 2018
This plane is near new perfect condition with 30 logged flights and no damage or handling marks whatsoever. I've flown the plane a number of times after having Ken Velez (FAI pilot) do the initial trimming and setup.

If you're asking why I'm selling it so soon, it's simple. I simply can't get comfortable flying this plane, it's above my ability.

I will sell the airplane pretty much anyway you want it. The listed price is for the completed airframe minus the motor and electronics. If you want anything listed below that's not included in the airframe we can discuss exactly what you might want or need.

As pictured the setup is for use with a Himax 6330-210 motor (rear mount)

Included is a modification I've made to several planes in the past and it's incorporated here. It is the most durable landing gear support system on the planet. A carbon fiber landing plate, under the gear legs with two vertical supports fore and aft of the main block that completely ties this is all together without adding much additional weight. This is a bulletproof system.

The current configuration as shown in the photos (not included)
(1) Himax 6330-210 motor
(2) Spektrum 6220 HV low profile aileron servos
(2) Hitec HS-7245MH Mini elevator servos
(1) Spektrum 6265 HV rudder servo
(1) Castle Phoenix Edge 80HV
(1) 82 mm Falcon carbon fiber three blade spinner
(1) 19.5 x 13 Falcon three blade prop
(1) Powerbox Digiswitch
  • One of a kind Akiba paint and color scheme
  • Setup for the Himax 6330-210 motor
  • Non removable chin cowl as on other Invitations
  • OEM wheels & pants included
  • Removable rudder (incorporated during the building stage)
  • Removable battery tray with tray brackets (Gator RC brand)
  • Canilzer support bracket installed
  • BJ Craft wing adjusters
  • Gator ESC & Receiver trays
  • Upgraded tailwheel
  • Quick release canopy latch (works perfectly)
  • Built with a Powerbox Digiswitch mount (not included)
  • Purchased from F3A unlimited in January 2018
This can be shipped via FedEx ground as I will use the actual shipping box I received it in. Approximate shipping costs to the lower 48 states will range from $190.00 - $250.00
If you want this shipped via FedEx ground in the original wood crate I will remove the rudder, landing gear, Canilzer, horizontal stabs, and motor, this will allow it to fit in the crate perfectly. To reinstall the rudder simply reinsert use the music wire thorough the hinges, it's that easy.

If you're interested in picking it up I can arrange to travel up to 100 miles to meet halfway. The plane is located in Syracuse, NY
